With public transport

Take bus 1, 3, 5 or 6 from the railway station directly to the old city. You will need about 10 minutes for this trip. Or, take the S-Bahn city train to the “Mülln-Altstadt” station and enjoy the 15-minute walk to the city centre.

From the airport

The airport is just 4 km from the city centre. Take bus 10 or, even more conveniently, a taxi. Both ways will take you to the city centre in just about 20 minutes.

By car

From Linz and Vienna: take the motorway exit Nord or Mitte (Park & Ride). From Munich and Innsbruck: take the motorway exit Mitte (Park & Ride). From Italy: take the motorway exit Süd (Park & Ride). Take advantage of Park & Ride and please note the restricted access for cars in the city centre.

Parking

The following garages offer the safest and easiest parking in the city centre: Mönchsberg, Nonntal, Mirabell, Schwarzstrasse and Linzergasse.
